Livin' Life

 

 In a very meager attempt to catch up... these photos are from Father's Day

 Camille is such a happy little girl and her favorite thing to do is smile.  And she smiles with her whole little body.  She just shakes her whole body and breaks out into the biggest smile.  She is completely enamored with her Daddy and brothers, and they think she's pretty wonderful too.

Father's Day morning we had Jaarsma apple bread french toast, eggs and fresh strawberries.  The boys were excited to celebrate their awesome Daddy!

 Camille LOVES to be tossed into the air.  If she's getting crabby, toss her in the air and you are certain to get giggles of delight

 Nathan played coach-pitch T-ball this summer and Chad was one of the assistant coaches.  They both loved it and had so much fun!  It was amazing to see how all the boys improved over the 2 months.  It was so much fun to watch and I do look forward to next year and when Aaron is old enough to play.

Nathan had a great coach in Coach Mike. After every game they all had to take a knee and coach told them what a great game they had and what to keep working on.  Nathan is in btwn #9 and #8.

One hot morning I broke out the padded slip-n-slide and water sprinkler.  It was humorous trying to not get drenched myself in the process of getting the crazy sprinkler to shoot onto the slide.

Eventually we just moved to the sprinkler and boy did they have fun!

This was one of our fun summer art projects.  We also painted 4 yard sticks along with these clothes pins.  The clothes pins are hot glued to the painted yard sticks and we've hung up the boys' favorite pieces of art they've made.  It's all hanging in the basement toy area.  I'll have to get a picture of that...

 One morning the boys broke out their batman and ninja warrior costumes and boy was that a hoot!

 I mean, wouldn't you be frightened to face this guy in a dark alley? 

 It was so hilarious!  Nathan would just pound on Aaron's chest and Aaron would just laugh.  He kept telling us he was fighting evil.  At one point he told Chad this and Chad asked him where evil was.  Aaron's answer?  "upstairs, and I'm going to go punch it in the face"  um...Nathan was upstairs....oy vey.
