Resilient

One word is definitely describing our Aaron Paul. Resilient. This boy has gone thru so much as a mere 10 month old - more than his older brother anyhow. He's fought thru:

• croup
• RSV - 2 night stay in the hospital
• ear infection after ear infection (finally has tubes)
• fall off our rather high bed
• fall down a thankfully very small flight of stairs
• NUMEROUS bangs and bumps to his melon

I'm literally amazed at how many times he gets hit in the head, bumps his own head or face plants he endures in a day. It's astounding to me how he doesn't suffer from one massive headache (well...maybe he does??). To top it off he's teething with about 4 or 5 coming in at the same time. Aaron doesn't do anything half-way. He's all in. He's not concerned about what may lie around the corner or that by letting go of Mommy's hand may mean he will fall, and on his face none-the-less. He's brave, daring, confident, full of life and RESILIENT.

I'm learning so much from my youngest child. It's okay to try and fail. You just get back up and keep moving ...forward. You've got to take risks to really learn your potential, be brave and explore what's out there. Don't just sit back and let the world go by waiting for someone to take care of me. I'm learning to trust more in my Heavenly Father. He's got me in his grasp even if I teeter out there - he'll never let me go! He scoops me up and wipes away my tears and whispers into my ear his great love for me.

Thank you, Aaron Paul, for the way you are ministering to my heart and showing me more of Jesus thru your eyes! My little RESILIENT boy.
