Nathan did so great while we were gone! He's such a little lover of people and everyone did such an amazing job of loving him well and keeping him entertained. He still talks about milking the pigs at Living History Farms! (see Heather and Seth's blog - it's so awesome!) The thing we were the most concerned with was the transition back to home and day care. He loves being home with Mommy more than ever and always needs to be touching me. He wants to hug, snuggle, kiss, be held - anything with contact. He's also begun telling me he loves me and rubbing my back thru the day! He is the most tender hearted and loving little boy and I'm eating it up because before I know it he'll be in the stage where it's totally uncool to be snuggly with his Mom!This phase does certainly have it's down side though. Dropping him off at school (day care) just about rips my heart out. He was clinging to me for dear life and the teachers had to pry him out of my arms. Not a fun feeling at all. But then he started transitioning to the 2 year old room yesterday, which he loves! This morning he just about jumped out of my arms to go to the room! Unreal! When I picked him up he was hanging out with his best buddy Brady Steenhoek and said he had a Great Day! Praise the Lord!
The other day he thought it would be fun to be a Rock Star and jam out with his "banjo" and wear Mommy's head phones. Hilarious!

I love it! Oh may the good times roll. Maybe some guitar lessons would be good for christmas?
I think guitar lessons would be perfect! We'd better jump on those budding musical skills! :)
