For the past three years we have gone to the Carroll Pumpkin Farm in Grinnell with Nathan. The first year he wasn't a huge fan but ever since then he has been jazzed about it. The first thing we did was feed the goats, well, I fed the goats while Nathan watched. I guess it sounded like a lot more fun to him than actually doing it. Next we climbed aboard the wagon being pulled by a John Deere tractor of course! We headed out to the field to pick out pumpkins for all of us. Good times!
We had to stop in the barn to play on the hay bales and go down some slides. Even Chad had to take a ride!
There are always plenty of places to get a fun family photo. Getting Nathan to be as excited about it as us is a whole other story.
Being the animal lover that he is, Nathan just had to ride the horse!

How fun! Looks like a good time was had by all 3 of you ... even if Nathan wasn't so excited about the photo ops!
