Montepulciano

Montepulciano is about as original a Medieval Renaissance town as you can find. It was largely dominated by Florence in the 15th & 16th centuries. It was also the homebase for much of our wine tasting and countryside exploring in Tuscany.

We spent Friday & Saturday night, September 5th & 6th in a beautifully original former Medieval palace converted to a bed 'n breakfast.

This is a beautiful, quiet little town that is a must see for anyone in Tuscany. Enjoy the slide show.
