Tulip Time with Comforts

Thursday afternoon of Tulip Time Auntie Heather and Uncle Seth made it down to enjoy the festivities and take in a parade. Nathan is enamored with them and had a blast! Not sure why this picture is turned - but oh, well. I love how Nathan is placing his hand on Uncle Seth.This year they had someone dressed up as Wyatt Earp who was handing out badges to little kiddos that said "Tulip Time Marshall" so cute!Nathan as pretty pumped!Gotta love the bond these two share!Nathan wants to be a runner "just like Uncle Seth!" The night before was the Klompen Classic and Nathan ran his very first official race and had an absolute blast. Uncle Seth was there to run alongside him. Then we watched Seth run and after his race Nathan wanted to keep running with Seth. Poor guy was tired and Nathan wanted to keep running and running! What a trooper you are Seth!

After the parade we made it to the area in the park with kids games and bouncy houses. Nathan is usually afraid of these - but since he had one all to himself he was all for it. He cracked us up when he was jumping b/c all of a sudden he blurts out, "My britches are falling down!" The gal running the thing thought that was the most hilarious thing she'd ever heard and I had to admit it was pretty darn funny! The things that come out of his mouth astound me at times!
